Does it get more boring than wooden squares and rolls of plastic wrap? We don’t think so. APM came to us with a strong foundation of who they were as a brand. They were confident in their branding and logo but had some wild ideas on how they wanted to stand out in a very vanilla industry. We love working with clients who have creative ideas that we can build on and bring to life.
Jesse and the team at APM stressed their desire to up the level of their video content. The tagline “The Coolest Kids in Shipping” was quickly crafted to add an overarching playful tone to the new campaign. The messaging needed to break free of the standard “our products are the best” and “we’re the cheapest” headline copy.
We created a video series highlighting the strength and durability of their products using monsters such as werewolves. The content showcased the monsters being kept at bay as a result of the high-performing shipping supplies. The imagery of the monsters was so off the beaten path of normal content for the industry we knew potential clients couldn’t help but stop and watch.
Jesse and his team understood the importance of frequency. Their industry is not one built on impulse. The products they sell are the type that a company only worries about when they need to reorder. All of the content is geared towards when that potential client needs to order, they’re going to remember us first. And that is just what the results speak to. APM is now one of the largest suppliers of stretch wrap in the Northeast and builds upon their success with yearly out of the box marketing campaigns to keep top of mind with potential new clients.
