Why We Do This
We didn’t start Viola Media to be another studio.
We started this because we had to - because creating stories that matter, building projects worth pursuing, and collaborating with people who inspire us wasn’t optional.
This isn’t about algorithms or chasing viral moments. It’s about resonance. It’s about rhythm. It’s about crafting work that makes people feel something - then do something.
Planted on Long Island, rooted in real conversations and raw execution. Part studio, part experiment, part crew of creative problem-solvers with one foot in the system and the other in chaos.
We’re here for the unfinished notebooks, the late-night sparks, the moments when an idea hits and you know it’s bigger than you imagined.

What We Make

He doesn’t wait for permission... he builds, breaks, and rebuilds until it feels right.

The engine room of Viola Media. Jon makes sure everything runs... and runs well. From project timelines to production pipelines, he turns ideas into action and chaos into clean systems. Equal parts spreadsheet and soundboard, he’s the one pushing podcasts across the finish line while quietly shaping the creative underneath. If it needs to get done, Jon’s already two steps into it.

Partner / Process Mastermind / Quiet Creative Force
If it plugs in, plays, or needs to sound perfect—Rob’s on it. A one-man production crew and multi-instrumentalist, he’s the backbone of Viola Media’s music and audio work. From cinematic mixes to gritty podcast scoring, Rob builds the sonic world around every story. He’s the guy who can fix the mic, play the riff, shoot the shot, and mix it all before lunch.

Kurt brings the soul. As a video editor, host, and published author, he knows how to shape stories that stick—funny, heartfelt, or flat-out unhinged. He’s the guy who finds the throughline in a pile of chaos, adds a punchline, and somehow makes it all work. Whether he’s behind the timeline or in front of the mic, Kurt keeps the vibe alive and the story moving.

Crystal is the calm in the creative storm keeping projects on track, timelines tight, and the team aligned. As the newest member of the crew, she brings structure to the madness without slowing the rhythm. She’s got an eye for detail, a knack for timing, and just enough creative spark to speak the language while keeping the wheels turning. When things get loud, she keeps it moving.

Welcome to West Industry Studios, Viola Media’s home base and build space. Tucked into the hum of Long Island, this is where we make our best noise. A modular studio made for podcasting, music, filming, editing, and thinking out loud. It’s part control room, part garage band energy, and fully wired to bring big ideas to life. We’ve hosted recording sessions, tracked albums, launched podcasts, filmed shorts, and lost track of time more than once. The vibe changes by the hour but the output always hits. This is where we test. Where we play. This is where it gets real.
